Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP)
The NIH-supported Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine prepares exceptional students for careers as physician scientists by offering outstanding clinical education interwoven with rigorous scientific training. MSTP alumni include department chairs at prominent medical schools and leaders in the pharmaceutical industry and federal agencies.
The MSTP is a place for students with the restless passion to do more. In the classroom, examination room, laboratory, and here in Baltimore and in distant communities, the MSTP MD/PhD candidates are working to make the world a better place. We hope you will consider a gift to support the Medical Science Training Program.
How can you help?
Gifts to the MSTP provide resources to allow students to attend and present at scientific meetings and help the program hold an annual retreat, attract sought-after speakers, competitively recruit the best students, and meet other needs as they arise.
