Residents/Fellows

For more than 200 years, the University of Maryland School of Medicine has served an essential role as a training ground for future medical professionals. By training physicians in areas including cardiovascular medicine, diagnostic radiology, surgery, and preventive medicine, the School of Medicine ensures that residents and fellows are well trained before they enter their profession.

Gifts to the School of Medicine support residents and fellows in a number of ways:

·Postdoctoral research support

·International travel for research

·Professional development conferences

·Recognition of outstanding research achievements

With support for physicians beginning their careers, the School of Medicine ensures that these medical professionals are providing exemplary healthcare to their patients.
