Center for Vaccine Development

The Center for Vaccine Development (CVD) is an internationally respected research center dedicated to the creation and testing of vaccines against infectious diseases to aid underserved communities in Baltimore and around the world. Since its inception in 1974, the CVD has served as a key resource in the development of vaccines, and our researchers have been at the forefront of understanding and controlling outbreaks of both national and global concern such as cholera, Ebola, typhoid and Zika. The CVD is dedicated to combating and eliminating infectious diseases that hit the world's poorest and most vulnerable populations.

Gifts to the CVD support educational, research and clinical activities in vaccine development and community outreach on disease prevention and policy development. Your support will help the CVD continue its critical mission, provide ongoing support for the next generation of researchers and continue to expand our work in local communities.
