Hamish S. Osborne Program in Lung Healing Fund

Providing transformative care for people who suffer from breathlessness

Hamish S. Osborne Program in Lung Healing Fund A Project of School of Medicine Tributes - Honor and Memorial Gifts

The University of Maryland School of Medicine and Medical System faculty members, clinical and administrative staff mourn the passing of Hamish S. Osborne. Hamish is remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, passionate philanthropist, and fun-loving friend.

The Hamish S. Osborne Program in Lung Healing Fund honors Hamish's memory and is a tribute not only to his leadership as a founding partner of the Program in Lung Healing, but also to the care and treatment he received for pulmonary fibrosis.

The above video chronicles Hamish and Christy's journey through transplantation and their work on behalf of the Program in Lung Healing.

How can you help?

Your gift to the Hamish S. Osborne Program in Lung Healing Fund will support the type of disruptive science associated with high-risk, high-reward laboratory innovation that is focused on lung repair, replacement, regeneration, and artificial means of respiration.

Your gift in memory of Hamish will help School of Medicine physicians advance research that will help future patients also suffering from breathlessness.
