Service Learning Fund A Project of School of Medicine Special Projects

For more than 200 years, the School of Medicine has been committed to bringing better healthcare to Maryland and beyond, and one arm of this initiative is the Service Learning Program for first- and second-year School of Medicine students. By pairing medical students with locations that meet their research and practical interests, this vital program enriches the experience of students and the people we work with, including school children, young adults in the juvenile justice system, veterans, seniors, the homeless, and many others in need.
