Occupational & Environmental Medicine A Project of Department of Medicine

The Division of Occupational Medicine in the Department of Medicine is focused on working to prevent occupational and environmental disease and related disability through the provision of clinical services, employer consultation, and worker training. The Division is involved in research on the causes, risk factors, management and prevention of occupational injuries and illnesses, including musculoskeletal disorders, resulting from cumulative trauma, occupational cancer, adult lead exposure and other heavy metal poisonings as well as exposures related to military service.

How can you help?

Gifts to the Division support an annual lectureship, making it possible for the Division of Occupational Medicine to invite experts from all over the world to lecture annually on medicine in the workplace.
