Merlis Memorial Lectureship in Neurology A Project of School of Medicine Lectureships
The Department of Neurology is at the forefront of discovery in the battle to conquer a wide variety of neurological disorders and is working every day to make life easier for those dealing with Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, strokes and other debilitating diseases.The Jerome K. Merlis, MD Memorial Lectureship in the Department of Neurology has been named in memory of Dr. Jerome Merlis physician, neurophysiologist, and professor of neurology (emeritus) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.
The lecture was established by a gift from Drs. Morton Kramer, Harvey Pats, and Rodrigo Toro. Lectureships bring distinguished physicians and researchers to the School of Medicine to share their experience and findings with students and faculty.
