Celebrating Dr. Sania Amr's years of leadership of the Preventive Medicine Residency Program
Honoring Dr. Sania Amr's Legacy in PMR A Project of School of Medicine Tributes - Honor and Memorial Gifts
The Preventive Medicine Residency (PMR) Professional Development Endowment provides endowed support for scholarships and professional development opportunities to residents in the PMR Program in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. Students leave the PMR Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine with the education and skills necessary to advance the health of the public by investigating the causes, treatments and prevention of human health problems.
Dr. Sania Amr has led the PMR Program for years, advocating for the dozens of residents who were trained here. When Dr. Amr retires in December 2016, she will leave behind a strong legacy of resident training, education, and professional development that has helped elevate the PMR Program to one of the best in its field.
How can you help?
Honor Dr. Amr's years as director of the PMR Program on the occasion of her retirement with your donation to the PMR Professional Development Endowment.
Your gift to support the educational expenses and professional development of residents is an investment in the future of public health, and a fitting tribute to Dr. Amr upon her retirement. With your donation, you help make a difference in the health of the Baltimore community and beyond, just as Dr. Amr did during her years with the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. Thank you for your tribute.
