Dr. Stephen C. Jacobs Urology Resident Fund A Project of School of Medicine Residents/Fellows

Dr. Stephen C. Jacobs is remembered as a brilliant surgeon, charismatic academic leader, respected mentor and beloved friend.

The Jacobs Resident Fund honors Dr. Jacobs' tenure as head of the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Surgery Division of Urology, from 1989-2002; his accomplishments in the field; and his passion for mentorship of urologists and urological oncologists throughout his career.

How can you help?

The University of Maryland Division of Urology offers state-of-the-art care for patients in need of traditional and advanced procedures for all conditions of the urinary tract. Jacobs Urology Resident Fund supports educational, research and professional development opportunities to ensure that urology trainees are fully prepared to address today's medical challenges and improve treatments for tomorrow.
