Center for Infant Study A Project of Department of Psychiatry
The Center for Infant Study was founded in 1982 by Dr. Taghi Modarressi, and is maintained by the Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine as the leading infant and early childhood mental health service program in Maryland. The multi-disciplinary team of child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and counselors are trained in evidence-based interactions to prevent behavioral health problems later in life. The staff is committed to assisting families and communities help young children "grow well and love well."
