Lung Rescue Unit Research Fund A Project of School of Medicine - Research

The Lung Rescue Unit (LRU), part of the Program in Lung Healing at the School of Medicine, treats patients with end-stage respiratory failure and acute lung injury in need of life-saving innovative therapies. With a multidisciplinary team of renowned physician-scientists, the program treats acute lung disease like a critical, time-sensitive Shock Trauma case, and conducts groundbreaking research to develop innovative treatments that will fundamentally change standard therapy.
