Gary D. Plotnick, M.D. and Michael L. Fisher, M.D. Cardiovascular Medicine Endowed Lectureship
Plotnick and Fisher Cardiovascular Medicine Lectureship A Project of School of Medicine Lectureships
The Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine has trained the highest caliber of physicians, including more than half of the physicians currently practicing medicine in Maryland. This endowment recognizes two of our long-time faculty members and beloved teachers, Gary D. Plotnick, M.D. and Michael L. Fisher, M.D.
Thanks to a generous matching gift grant made by the James and Carolyn Frenkil Charitable Foundation, all donations to the Plotnick-Fisher Lectureship made between now and June 1, 2018 will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $35,000).
Gifts given in support of this endowed lectureship will help provide unique opportunities each year: enhancing the education of current physicians, medical students, and trainees by bringing renowned physicians and scientists to campus to address various topics related to cardiovascular medicine.
How can you help?
A gift to the Gary D. Plotnick, M.D. and Michael L. Fisher, M.D. Cardiovascular Medicine Endowed Lectureship will benefit the community by providing an opportunity for sharing and disseminating new ideas and research to faculty members and students. Thank you!!
