Physics Research Fund A Project of School of Medicine - Research
The Division of Medical Physics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology is a leader in the field, spearheading findings in everything from motion management to advanced treatment-assessment techniques. New research opportunities pursued by division faculty include imaging technology and supercomputing to identify patients who respond to concurrent chemo-radiotherapy treatment, as well as in prompt gamma imaging to develop a noninvasive technology to track where the proton beam stops during proton therapy.
How can you help?
Your gift to the Division of Medical Physics pushes research further and allows the division to develop new initiatives thanks to your donations. These research pursuits in imaging technology, supercomputing, and prompt gamma imaging grow only stronger with your philanthropy. Thank you.
